My first stone therapy treatment was in 1995, what an incredible experience. Bodywork treatments were new to me, so I wasn't sure what to expect. The hot stones put me into a hypnotic state and that night I had the best sleep of my life. My exwife Tomi Wertheim was training with Mary Nelson at the time to become her first understudy.

As the LaStone Therapy Company grew, the demand for Basalt stones grew putting AML LaStone Source, the first official supplier for massage stones, behind.

It was time for the birthing of Desert Stone People.

At the request of AML LaStone Source and the staff of LaStone Therapy, Inc. we became stone providers in January 2000. Our days are filled with sorting, harvesting and dancing with the stones as we labor to put together basalt stone sets for all of you.
